Members of the 68th Durham Light Infantry Display Team wear replica uniforms of the Napoleonic War era (c 1814). The group re-enacts regimental life from a variety of periods and has featured in film and television productions such as Sharpe, Hornblower and Waterloo. The regiment was raised in 1758 and became a light infantry regiment in 1808. Known locally as the DLI, the regiment served around the world until 1968.
