The picturesque inspiring church of Mgarr, a small village in southwest Malta. The church is also known as the "Egg Church" because in the 1930's the local priest asked the villagers to "donate eggs" to raise money to help build the church. The villagers "donated eggs" and their labour to build the church, the work lasted from 1912 to 1946.
