Miletus was an ancient Greek city flourishing from the 8th century BC in the west of nowadays Turkey. The settlement was in former times at the coast but is now situated inland. From this port the Sacred Way leads as an impressive road out to some baths as the Vergilius Capito thermae. Milet war eine Stadt im alten Griechenland, die ab dem 8. Jahrhundert vor Christus aufblühte. Damals lag der Ort an der Küste, heute finden sich seine Ruinen einige Kilometer landeinwärts. Vom Hafen führt die beeindruckende Heiligen Straße zu einigen Bädern wie den Vergilius Capito Thermen.
