Nov 05, 2004; Los Angeles, CA, USA; Driving in wet conditions causes more accidents on highways. Hydraplaning and aquaplaning are common problems which lead to deaths on the road. But a heavy shower after a dry spell causes a lethal surge in accidents. Source: Daniel Eisenberg of the University of California, Berkeley.
