More information:

Oakworth Railway Station was opened to passenger services in April 1867. It was originally built and operated by the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, but was absorbed by the Midland Railway in 1881. It is preserved in the style of the period 1905-1910, and has been used in film and television, including ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ and ‘The Railway Children (1970)’. The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway Preservation Society took over the line and re-opened the station on 29th June 1968.
