Three Saint's Temple is the oldest building in Sandakan, dating from 1887. The three saints are Kwan Woon Chueng - saint of righteousness; the goddess of Tin Hou, worshipped by fishermen and seaman for protection, and the Min Cheong Emperor, worshipped by those who seek success in examinations.
