San Sebastian Abasolo, Oaxaca, Mexico - A man sets off firecrackers before mass at the San Sebastian Abasolo Catholic church during the town's yearly celebration of San Sebastian, the town's patron saint. He lights the firecracker, swinging it around and timing his throw so that it explodes high in the air. During the nine-day celebration, a different local resident volunteers to organize a daily mass, arranging for the priest, flowers, a band, and fireworks. The volunteers also serve meals at their homes for dozens of guests.
