On an almost empty, flat sand beach, washed with tidal inlets, a lone man dressed in shellfish or fishing gear approaches the calm waters of Carmarthen Bay. He is wearing Wellies or Wellington boots and orange, waterproof hip waders and his carrying what appears to be a rake or hoe to gather cockles from the seabed. A small orange buoy floats offshore.
