Seething Freshwater Sardine Festival. Seething Wells, Surbiton, Greater London, UK. 7th May 2017. Tongue-in-cheek celebration of freshwater sardine fishing in the River Thames with shanties sung as the Mighty Catch is landed at Queen's Promenade and then paraded to Claremont Gardens. A sardine BBQ, local-produce stalls and live bands complete this fishy entertainment. Organised to raise funds for local youth projects. Part of the Surbiton Food Festival.
