The Kewpie doll Hair Style existed years before it was named. The first Kewpie doll was a cartoon published in 1909, and the creator, Rose O'Neill, soon sold paper doll versions. An actual bisque kewpie doll was created in 1912 in Germany. They soon became the all the rage in America during the 1910s. To see All my Vintage images, key 2 words: Prestor vintage
