Water Tours of Hong Kong Ltd, formed in 1959, operates two unique, wooden tour boats built in a traditional Chinese style. 'Phoenix', seen here, has the capacity to carry 250 people on tours of 90 minutes to 3 hours duration in and around Victoria Harbour. Tours operate from Central Pier 9 on Hong Kong Island and Kowloon Public Pier 3, in front of the Cultural Centre, under the upper deck of the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade. When not in use, the 'Phoenix' is moored in Causeway Bay Typhoon Shelter.
