Tavistock House was the London home of English writer Charles Dickens from 1851 to 1860. While here he wrote, Little Dorrit, Bleak House, Hard Times, and A Tale of Two Cities. This illustration appeared in John Forster's Life of Dickens, Vol III, published in 1874.
