The terracotta soldiers from the imperial Qin dynasty (221 BC-206 BC) stand inside the Terracotta Warriors Museum in Xian, Shaanxi province, China, 2002. The funerary statues for China's First Qin Emperor are one of the most significant archaeological finds in the world. The figures include warriors, chariots, horses, officials, acrobats, and musicians. The majority of the Terracotta Army of 8, 000 life-size soldiers, 130 chariots with 520 horses and 150 cavalry horses are still buried in the pits.
