The craggy face of Pavey Ark and Jack's Rake, Langdale Pikes, Great Langdale, Lake District Cumbria, UK. Jack's Rake is a difficult route of ascent along the 45 degree diagonal rake from bottom right to top left. Although climbed by hundreds of walkers every year, the dangers should not be underestimated and several walkers have been killed whilst attempting this route. To give a sense of scale, 4 tiny figures can be seen against the skyline on the summit.
