SINGAPORE - JULY 11: Raffles Hotel in Singapore on July 11, 2012. The hotel was established by the Sarkis brothers in 1887. After refurbishments of an existing premise, the hotel was open for business in 1889. The principle design architect then was Regent Alfred John Bidwell of Swan and Maclaren Architects.
