The historic 1927 Delta King riverboat is now a unique hotel permanently moored on the Sacramento River in Old Sacramento, California, USA. Originally the paddle-wheeler transported passengers on 10-hour voyages to and from San Francisco, then served the U.S. Navy in San Francisco during World War II. After her engines were salvaged for use in her sister ship, the Delta Queen, the old wooden riverboat was towed back to Sacramento for complete renovation. The Delta King came to life again in 1989 as this dockside hotel with 44 staterooms, a restaurant, bar and grill, and dinner theater.
