A Napoleon wrasse or humphead wrasse (Cheilinus undulatus). Very sadly, these large and beautiful fish are becoming increasingly rare, mainly because their meat - especially the lips - are highly prized in certain Asian markets. As in the case of shark fins, consuming them is considered to confer high status and to produce aphrodisiac effects. Photographed in the Egyptian Red Sea.
