The Moor Market is the first phase of a revitalisation and redevelopment of The Moor, a distressed high street in the centre of Sheffield. Leslie Jones created a new landmark building complete with a dramatic brass-clad entrance arch and impressive internal timber structure. This is juxtaposed with the modern, rectangular design of the retail units. This initial phase not only lifts the architectural quality of the buildings on The Moor, but creates a unique retail offering for Sheffield with local traders sitting alongside nationwide brands.
