The mortuary chamber within the complex holding the tombs of the Qutb Shahi Kings. Here the bodies were washed dressed and prepared for burial. The tombs of the Qutb Shahi Kings are located near to the Golconda Fortress (not shown) close to Hyderabad, India. The 16th century fortress was built on the site of the capital of the state of Telegana and, in total, 82 tombs were built here. Kings members of the royal family, military commanders and dancers were honoured with tombs.
