The newly minted Papaya King food truck is seen in Midtown Manhattan on Friday, June 27, 2014. With rising rents the once ubiquitous hot dog emporiums have shrunk with only two Papaya Kings and one Gray's Papaya left. Papaya King launched their truck this week and will be filling the gap (and the stomachs) of hot dog lovers in Midtown. And they won't be emptying their pocketbooks either as their combo of two dogs with all the toppings and a papaya or coconut drink is only seven bucks. (© Richard B. Levine)
