The award winning show garden and nursery is known nationally and internationally for its expertise in ornamental grasses, along with many other plants and perennials. The beautifully maintained 6 acre garden has over 6, 000 plants from all over the world. Within Knoll there are a huge variety of different-themed gardens to walk through and enjoy. The National Collections of phygelius and ceanothus are held Knoll Gardens. The secluded four-acre garden contains rare and unusual trees and shrubs, quiet places of contemplation and dramatic focal points, from the fabulous Dragon Garden to the glorious grassy Decennium Border. With over 6, 000 plant species, including many rare and native varieties, this is not a garden that is set in time. Knoll is constantly evolving, celebrating a way of gardening that welcomes wildlife, encourages true sustainability and has year-round beauty as a direct result of its guiding principles.
