Fowey Harbour is situated on the south coast of Cornwall, approximately halfway between Plymouth and Falmouth. Fowey is situated on the western side of the mouth of the river Fowey, with Polruan opposite. The harbour is bounded by other towns and villages ; Bodinnick, Golant, Mixtow, Penpol, Lerryn, St Winnow and Lostwithiel. The Fowey River rises on Bodmin Moor and, on average, 93 million gallons of water flow through the harbour each day.
