The COP15 2009 was held in Copenhagen. The conference was billed as the last chance to stop uncontrollable climate change.The main venue where world leaders and UN negotiators from all over the met was the Bella Center but up to 20.000 climate activists from all over the world came to Copenhagen to show their concerns over the changing climate and to participate in parallel discussions, to march through Copenhagen and to take direct actions. The piece The Survival of the Fattest next to the iconic Little Mermaid. The sculpture the Survival of the Fattest is made by artist Jens Galschiot, a sculptor mixing art and politics.
