This Mechanical Dipper Dredge, the Rialto M. Christensen, was built in 1977 by the Japanese Hakodate Dock Company. This dredge holds the world record for the most dredged, 7700 cubic yards of material in one eight hour shift breaking the record held by a predicessor steam dredge, the Cascadas.
