Three men in orange robes pray at the feet of the statue of Lord Bahubali also known as Gomateshwar in the small town of Shravanabelagola in Karnataka, India. Shravanabelagola is an important site for the Jain religion. Once in every twelve years a large scale festival the Mahamastakabisheka is held. Jain pilgrims from across the world come to pay respects to Lord Bahubali and to bathe the statue's head in the respectful act of abisheka. As many as 3 million pilgrims attended the Mahamastakisheka of 2006.
