Siemens Class 185 diesel multiple unit number 185 128 approaching Carnforth Station with a train from Barrow in Furness to Manchester Airport on a Sunday afternoon. The train is about to pass the signal box at the junction of the Furness line (to Barrow in Furness) with the line to Leeds via Settle Junction and Skipton. The old stone building at the end of the platform is the old signalbox. This train is operated by Trans Pennine Express (TPE) which is part of the First group. Warton Crag is in the background.
