RMG50R2M–The hi-tech bridge still under construction of the Triton, the world's first triamaran warship being prepared for its launch at Vosper Thornycroft Shipbuilders in Southampton. * The 97 metres long prototype vessel, costing 13 million has been built by defence giant Vosper Thornycroft, for the Ministry of Defence. It is due to begin sea trials for the Defence Evaluation and Research Agency (DERA) and could eventually replace the Royal Navy's Type 22 and 23 frigates.
