U.S. military and equipment is being transported by aircrafts, 1940. In January 1940 in the U.S., during a maneuver on the West Coast the U.S. soldiers (12 officers and 342 men) and equipment (5, 000 tons) are transported by aircraft for the first time. For transport were used 39 Douglas aircrafts. On the right is the pilot Carlyle Walsh., 25.01.1940
