Wacky Races Strike Again! From the influence of the1960's animated TV series, Wacky Races, these classic cars are up for auction. Classic car auctioneers 'Historics' have announced that their first sale of 2012 will feature four sets of wacky wheels custom cars. The collection features a multi-engined 23ft long Snake Pit, which was built to take on speed records fitted with six synchronised Ford Cobra V8 engines, it has an estimated 2000 horsepower. Add to this 12 Holley four-barrel carburettors, 48 exhausts, two Ford C-6 automatic transmissions and a pair of Pontiac rear axles and things start to feel more than a little apocalyptic. The collection also features 'Bugaloos Buggy' made famous in the children’s TV show, which uses a four-passenger fibreglass body mounted on a Volkswagen floorplan and it’s built to look like a bug.The Bunkbeds car is a set of motorized bunkbeds and are being sold as “the perfect promotional plug for any bed shop or mattress maker”, and can be steered from the comfort of either the top or bottom bunk. The Historics at Brooklands auction will take place at Mercedes-Benz World on Saturday (18Feb11) England - January 2012
