Para-Rescue Member In Action -- An Airbase In Japan -- In a recent training mission held the U.S. Air Force's veteran 3rd Air Rescue Squadron, four of its seasoned para-rescue team members made the first Jump from the larger H-19 Sikorsky helicopter used by the unit. Supermarine Spitfire LF Mk.Vb 8070M / (EP120), at RAF Wattisham as a gate guard / station mascot. Currently (2021) owned by The Fighter Collection, based at Duxford. Built at Castle Bromwich in 1942 and delivered to 501 Squadron where it got six kills while being flown by Sqn Ldr Geoffrey Northcott. It suffered a ground collision and was repaired by CB before joining 19 Squadron. EP120 was delivered to 402 Squadron in 1944 and given the codes AE-A. After the war, it became a gate guard and later, a star in the Battle of Britain movie, before moving into storage in 1989. RM2M9AN80–Supermarine Spitfire LF Mk.Vb 8070M / (EP120), at RAF Wattisham as a gate guard / station mascot. Currently (2021) owned by The Fighter Collection, based at Duxford. Built at Castle Bromwich in 1942 and delivered to 501 Squadron where it got six kills while being flown by Sqn Ldr Geoffrey Northcott. It suffered a ground collision and was repaired by CB before joining 19 Squadron. EP120 was delivered to 402 Squadron in 1944 and given the codes AE-A. After the war, it became a gate guard and later, a star in the Battle of Britain movie, before moving into storage in 1989. Acquired by The Fight
