On 22 May 1965 , the Daleks - who seem to have an arrangement with immortality - will go into action against an enemy much stronger thatn themselves . This time it's the dreaded Mechanoids - mechanical monsters who look as if they'd just dropped from a ballroom ceiling , and act by throwing pulverising flames . Dr. Who and his colleagues will no doubt be caught somewhere between the Daleks , the Mechanoids and their roving police box , when the television serial gets under way with its latest innovation .14 April 1965 Stock Photohttps://www.alamy.com/image-license-details/?v=1https://www.alamy.com/on-22-may-1965-the-daleks-who-seem-to-have-an-arrangement-with-immortality-will-go-into-action-against-an-enemy-much-stronger-thatn-themselves-this-time-its-the-dreaded-mechanoids-mechanical-monsters-who-look-as-if-theyd-just-dropped-from-a-ballroom-ceiling-and-act-by-throwing-pulverising-flames-dr-who-and-his-colleagues-will-no-doubt-be-caught-somewhere-between-the-daleks-the-mechanoids-and-their-roving-police-box-when-the-television-serial-gets-under-way-with-its-latest-innovation-14-april-1965-image623399403.html
