Original WW1 era postcard of cavalrymen of the 11th Hussars, (Prince Albert's Own also known as the Cherry Pickers) posing for a relaxed, informal group photograph, in shirt sleeves, outside the stables after grooming their horses at Aldershot military training camp. The young man on very far LH of the group is Arthur Darling from Norwich, Norfolk. This was taken just before they were due to be transferred elsewhere, (possibly to York) later they may have been sent to join the battle at Messines) as infantry, not the cavalry.
