Arrests were made as Far Right 'White Pride' group gathered in the city to stage a demonstration. 50 plus members of the group waved flags and marched through Piccadilly Gardens. Anti-fascist campaigners staged a counter-demonstration and police line separated the two sides. Greater Manchester Police said two arrests were made, one for a breach of the peace. The second was also held for a public order offence.
