Priest Behnam Konutgan leads the mass at the Virgin Mary Church in Diyarbakir with his assistant clergyman and two young Assyrian. The last Assyrians of Diyarbakir, consisting of two families and a total of 12 people, celebrated the Easter Holiday with a mass held at the Virgin Mary Church. The priest Behnam Konutgan, who was commissioned from the Mardin Deyrul Zaferan Monastery because there was no cleric in the city who could administer the rite, directed it. A small number of Assyrians and their Armenian friends also attended the mass.
