This was a British airline formed in March 1934 by the railway companies, LMS, LNER, GWR and SR, and Imperial Airways. Only three Cruiser III aircraft were built (G-ADEM, G-ACYK and G-ADEL). G-ADEM was first registered to Spartan Aircraft Ltd on 14 March 1935. On 20 November 1936, this aircraft, now operating with Northern & Scottish Airways Ltd., crashed into a hanger when taking off from Blackpool-Stanley Park Airport in fog. Both the pilot and passenger were killed.
