Two boys are swinging from a roof beam while another boy and girl look on. Used nails and other litter have been discarded on the deck of the barge, left from its restoration work. The Pirate Club, a children’s boating club was formed in 1966 at Gilbey’s Wharf on the Regent’s Canal near Camden, London. A number of small boats and canoes had been donated for the children’s use.
