A young mother, aged 29, drowned her two sons before she shot herself. The midwife student drowned her two sons, 2 and 4 years old, in the family's bathtub before she killed herself. It was her husband, the father of her children, who found the three bodies when he came home from work around 4 pm. He managed to call the police before he went into shock. He was taken to the psychiatric hospital immediately. Salerno, a moment of funeral for the 26 Nigerian women who lost their lives falling into the sea from a rubber boat launched from Libya, officiated at the Monumental Cemetery in Salerno. It bears an inscribed cross and other memorials to the drowned five-man crew of the sloop ‘La Surprise’, which lost its sails and rudder in raging seas while carrying slate from Bayonne to London, England.
