Apr. 04, 1972 - Paraguayan President in Japan: Paraguayan President Alfredo Stroessner on an Official visit to Japan, has been received by Emperor Hirohito and members of the Imperial Family and also Prime Minister Eisaku Sato. During his visit the Japanese Government agreed to extend a Yen 3,900 million (app;£50 million) to Paraguay to help finance its industrial Projects. Photo shows Emperor Hirohito and President Stroessner, toast each other at a banquet given by the visiting Paraguayan president at an hotel in Tokyo. On right is Empress Nagako.
