Skrombergaverken. A factory for building ceramics in earthenware founded in 1886. Located in Ekeby outside Helsingborg in Bjuv municipality. Bricks, clinker and pipes were manufactured here. The brick factory came to specialize in facing bricks and glazed bricks. Their most famous ceramic product was their clinker used in the construction of the Sydney Opera House designed by Danish architect Jörn Utzon. A mixture of glossy and matte ceramic tiles were used.
