MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Calif.- Sailors from Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton's DECON Team participate in a First Receiver Operations Training Nov. 5, 2015. The semi-annual certification drill is administered by CBRNE instructors from the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery to assess the team's ability to triage and treat patients then to ensure they are cleaned so no contamination gets into the hospital. The team completed set up of two decontamination shelters and a complete dress-out of 42 personnel in 10 minutes and 10 seconds setting the Navy Medicine record time for a DECON team. The semi-annual certification drill is administered by CBRNE instructors from the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery to assess the team's ability to triage and treat patients then to ensure they are cleaned so no contamination gets into the hospital.
