(April 25, 2017) Electrician's Mate (Nuclear) 3rd Class Tyler Crowe, assigned to USS Nimitz (CVN 68) beach detachment, removes invasive vegetation along the Sinclair Inlet shoreline, just south of the Naval Base Kitsap-Bremerton Pass and ID office. Invasive vegetation overtakes native plants, which provide a habitat for local fish and birds, and prevents native vegetation from growing.
