Steam engine from Myrens Verksted, 1852. This engine is the oldest remaining steam engine produced in Norway. Myrens Verksted produced it for the iron foundry in Drammen and it was later installed at the Technical University in Trondheim. The machine has been exhibited at the Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology since the first permanent exhibition in the basement of the Viking Ship Museum at Bygdey in 1932.
