I5 West African dancers and musicians gave a demonstration of their arts today before a crowd of some 500 people gathered on the lawn in front of the Imperial Institute, South Kensington. An explanation of the complicated rhythms and melodies employed, was given by Dr S.D. Cudjoe. Leader of the troupe is Desmond Tay from Anyako, Gold Coast, who is doing research on Oriental and African studies at London University.
