A clay tablet described in Sumerian, with the second half of the epic story, also called Gilgamesh and the Cedar Forest. It describes how the hero and his friend Enkidu on their journey to the west, with the aim of making a name, neutralize and kill the mythical guardian of the forest appointed by the supreme god Enlil. This overconfident act ultimately unleashes the wrath of Enlil, as a result of which Enkidu dies.
