Cups Inca Imperial Period 1300-1532 AD Museo de Arte Precolombino, Cusco - Peru The cups, rendered in the manner of an inverted teardrops, repeat the emblematic form of the Aribalos, in which the composition is oriented towards keenly pointed extremes, on which the body of the object rests. The line and the stylized composition stand out as the artistic pivoting point of this group. It is surprising that these unique pair of cups, showing such marked skill in the design and use of clay and pigments, have been preserved.
