Conquest of Majorca by King James I. Battle of Portopí (12 September 1229). Scene depicing an episode of the battle in which William II (Guillem Ramon de Montcada) (1185-1229), Lord of Montcada, was killed. After landing in Santa Ponsa, William II of Bearne advanced with an expedition to take a strategic point called Puig de sa Batalla.
