Kolkata, India, July 15, 2024 — The streets of Kolkata came alive today as thousands of Hindu devotees gathered to celebrate the Ulta-Rath Yatra, marking the return journey of the chariots carrying the deities of Jagannath, Balaram, and Subhadra. Organized by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), the grand procession made its way down the iconic Chowringhee Road, drawing participants and spectators from all over the city and beyond. The Ulta-Rath Yatra, also known as the Return Journey, is a significant event in the Hindu calendar.
