The West Bengal government has directed state government schools to distribute Mid Day Meal supplies to parents of students during the summer vacation so that the needy children are not deprived of the scheme. The notice said that each student would get 2 kg of rice, 2 kg of potato, 250 grams of sugar, 250 grams of pulses, and one bar of soap. So the students came to a primary school to get their food items during summer vacation and some of them are also helping to give food items at Nabin Nagar, West Bengal.
