Protected by boom to prevent poloution, the historic Brigantine Zebu, The ship which is owned by the Merseyside Heritage Trust sank at its mooring outside the Tate Gallery in the Albert Dock complex in the early hours of the 4th September. It is planned that all being well the former Baltic timber trader which was later sailed around the world as part of youth development project, Operation Raleigh, during the 1980s, will be raised using flotation equipment after this week end.
