American Indian/ Native American, c. 1921. He was identified as 'Chief Running Deer.' He has a revolver pistol in his belt and a fringed bag hanging behind his nicely painted Drum. This picture was taken in Florida, USA. This man might have dressed up in all these wonderfully beaded clothing and accessories for his family and himself. But it's more likely this was a photo for selling to tourists. His name may well have been made up just for show, also. American tourists loved romanticized Native images.
